Just because it was a friendly match, doesn't mean Lionel Messi is going to take it easy. The entire nation of Estonia found that out the hard way on Sunday, as Argentina dismantled them 5-0 in their international friendly. Messi was on a tear in the win, putting on a show for every fan in attendance. All five goals in the game came courtesy of Messi, who was simply on a different level against the Estonian side that was left desperate for answers. The five-goal game from the Argentine was the first time he's scored that many goals in a single game since 2012.

The last time Messi scored five goals in a game, and the only other time he achieved such a feat in his entire professional career, came back in 2012 during a Champions League clash against Bayern Leverkusen, which Barcelona won 7-1. Now, a decade later, Messi managed to put up five goals in a single match for his country, an incredible accomplishment for the 34-year-old.

Messi first got on the scoresheet in the eighth minute via a penalty shot. After finding the back of the net once, the floodgates opened for the star winger. He scored again in the 45th minute, closing out the half on a high note. He completed his hat-trick just two minutes into the second half, grabbing his third goal of the evening in the 47th minute. His final two goals came in the 71st and 76th minutes, respectively, as Messi single-handedly willed Argentina to victory.

After somewhat of a down year at PSG for the Argentine superstar, he's showing the world that he's still a goalscoring machine, just as he was during his days at Barca.
