The Utah Jazz are entering a new era as they shift their roster in a new direction. Utah moved on from three-time Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert by trading him to the Minnesota Timberwolves. In return, the Jazz received Malik Beasley, Patrick Beverley, Jarred Vanderbilt, Leandro Bolmaro, Walker Kessler, four first-round picks, and a pick swap.

Utah is also in trade talks regarding star guard Donovan Mitchell. Mitchell is only 25 years old and entering the prime of his career. He is coming off a season where he averaged 25.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 5.3 assists. Mitchell shot 44.8 percent from the field and 35.5 percent from behind the arc.

Trading Mitchell would completely reset the Jazz's roster. While Mitchell is the big domino that could fall, Utah has made every player available in trade talks. This includes the recently acquired Beasley, who could be a reliable piece for multiple teams.

With that said, here are the two best trade destinations for Malik Beasley after the Jazz got him in the Rudy Gobert deal.

Malik Beasley Trade Destinations

2. Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks have had an eventful offseason, as the roster is being reconstructed around Luka Doncic. They lost Jalen Brunson to the New York Knicks in free agency, which is a significant loss.

However, Dallas was able to improve its center position by trading for Christian Wood. Wood will be a great addition for the Mavs and help them improve.

Another addition Dallas could make is acquiring Beasley. Beasley could provide additional scoring either in the starting lineup with Doncic or off the bench. Beasley averaged 12.1 points while shooting 39.1 percent from the field and 37.7 percent from downtown. It was a down year for Beasley scoring-wise, but he picked it up in the second half of the season, especially on the defensive end.

The Mavericks could use another three-and-d guy like Beasley that can score the ball well.

1. New Orleans Pelicans

The New Orleans Pelicans are another team that should target the 25-year-old wing. New Orleans had a great season, making it through the play-in tournament and taking the one-seeded Phoenix Suns to six games. They did this without arguably their best player in Zion Williamson, who missed the whole season.

The roster has talent, with combo guard C.J. McCollum, Brandon Ingram, and Jonas Valanciunas as all great contributors. Adding Beasley would give them another scoring option, and he could slot into the starting lineup or assume the 6th man role.

His improvement on the defensive end will give New Orleans another two-way player, which you can't have enough of in the NBA. The addition of Beasley would make the Pelicans an even more formidable team in the Western Conference this upcoming season. Williamson is set to return, and New Orleans is primed to take another jump. Although there are many other talented teams in the West, the Pelicans have a great system and mix of players that should lead to success.

Beasley will definitely have a market if the Jazz decide to trade him. Utah will probably wait until a Mitchell deal is struck to see what kind of assets they would want in return. While Beasley is not one of the biggest names on the trade market, he will be a beneficial pickup for interested teams.
