Man United has done a tremendous job at strengthening their squad this summer, bringing in both Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane. While they're still hoping to sign a couple of more players before the transfer window ends on September 1st, the Red Devils are targeting PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe, who is expected to leave the French capital next summer, per ESPN.

Edinson Cavani is expected to leave Old Trafford at the end of this season for a return to South America and Man United believes Mbappe would be the perfect replacement. The France international has voiced his desire to leave Paris for Real Madrid but after the Ligue 1 giants secured the signature of Lionel Messi, Mbappe will likely stay put for the time being. However, he refuses to sign a new contract with PSG, which certainly hints at his future.

Mbappe isn't the only striker target for Man United, though. They're also eyeing Harry Kane, Lautaro Martinez, and Erling Haaland, who Chelsea was chasing all summer but he ultimately decided to stay with Borussia Dortmund for another season.

Ole Gunnar Solskaer's side already has a plethora of attacking options but adding Mbappe to the fold would undoubtedly make them even better. The youngster is one of the most clinical finishers in world football, bagging 35 goals across all competitions in 2020/21.

Kylian Mbappe will have no shortage of potential suitors in 2022 but expect Man United to be one of them. If there's one thing we know, anything is possible when it comes to the Red Devils.
