Winners of the 2017 NBA Draft Lottery, the Boston Celtics now own the No. 1 pick in next month's draft. The Celtics have a variety of options with the No. 1 pick; they can trade it or use it to add a potential top caliber young talent to their roster.

If the Celtics end up keeping their pick, they are very likely to select University of Washington guard Markelle Fultz, who is projected to be a top selection. The only problem with selecting Fultz is that the Celtics already have a point guard in Isaiah Thomas. But if Boston rolls with Fultz, the potential top overall pick sees no problem playing with Thomas.

From CSN New England (Via NESN):

“Me and Isaiah Thomas would be a great backcourt,” Fultz said on CSNNE. “I think the opportunity that would be there would be amazing, just for him to play off the ball, where I think he’s better at it, or him to play on the ball and I can play off the ball. I think the chemistry would be amazing.” Fultz later added that he’s “versatile enough to play (point guard) or (shooting guard). Whatever a team needs me to do to win, I think I’m capable of doing that.”

Fultz is clearly confident, but we won't know for sure if he will actually play alongside Thomas until next month's NBA Draft.
