Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic as been compared to a lot of past and present NBA players. More recently, many say how he's like James Harden with his playmaking and craftiness that are not reliant on athleticism. For Mavs head coach Jason Kidd, however, he sees three legends in the Slovenian superstar.

Ahead of Dallas' Game 1 showdown with the Golden State Warriors, Kidd opened up about the best comparison to Doncic. According to the veteran coach, LeBron is the current player who compares best to the Mavs superstar. However, he is also a combination of Larry Bird and Magic Johnson.

“Shooting of Larry Bird, Smile of Magic… playmaking ability of Magic or LeBron. They all have one thing in common is winning. Hopefully at some point he'll be right there. Just not his ability to play basketball, but to have those championships,” Kidd said of Doncic, per Landon Thomas of Mavs Fans For Life.

Luka Doncic has always idolized LeBron James, so it's not a surprise that his playing style closely resembles the Los Angeles Lakers star. That ability to rebound, make plays and score comes so naturally for Luka just like LeBron.

The Larry Bird and Magic Johnson comparisons are no longer new as well, as Doncic have been terrorizing opponents with his deadly shooting and playmaking at his big size. Nonetheless, this only goes to show how many inspirations Luka had in developing his game.

Hopefully, Doncic channels his inner LeBron, Bird and Magic in their bid to take down the Warriors in their series and reach the NBA Finals since 2011.
