Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic couldn't hide his frustration after falling once again at the hands of the Los Angeles Clippers and failing to make the second round of the playoffs. However, that doesn't mean he's not happy with what the Mavs have accomplished.

In his postgame presser, Doncic got brutally honest admitted how much he hates losing–which is pretty much evident throughout their playoffs series with LA. Despite the frustration, though, the Slovenian playmaker still credited his teammates for putting up a good fight.

“I hate losing. We hate losing, but I'm proud of this team,” the Mavs guard shared, per Callie Caplan of the Dallas Morning News.

For what it's worth, Luka Doncic also acknowledged that they have a lot of work to do in the offseason if they want to truly compete for the title and avoid another first-round exit in the postseason. After all, for him, they have not proven anything yet.

“Nothing yet. We’ve been in the playoffs twice since I've been there. We lost both times, so nothing yet. You get paid to win, and we didn't do it,” Doncic replied when asked what he has proven in the playoffs, according to Michael Scotto of Hoops Hype.

If there is one thing the Mavs have learned in the 2021 playoffs, it's the fact the Doncic needs the right help in order to catapult Dallas to title contention. Luka has shown time and time again that he has the talent and mentality to power the Mavs to the NBA title, but he can't do it alone and he needs teammates who can mesh well with him and step up to ease the workload on him.

The Mavs have several decisions to make in the offseason, but their focus is certainly on how to generate more wins. After all, they know how much Luka hates losing.
