Dallas Mavericks fans, just stay calm. Mavs do-it-all guard Luka Doncic seems to be fine after all, following Slovenia’s 90-89 loss to France in the semifinals of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics men’s basketball tournament Thursday morning.

Doncic apparently hurt his wrist after colliding with a plexiglass barrier, according to Ben Golliver of The Washington Post but that did not stop him from putting up a monster effort that nearly sent Slovenia to a showdown with Team USA in the Gold Medal match. Doncic finished the contest with 16 points, 18 assists, and 10 rebounds in 37 minutes of action. However, his wrist appears to truly bother him, as he was a salty 5 of 18 from the field and 2 of 9 from behind the arc.

That was a tough loss for Slovenia, as the game could have gone in its favor if not for Nicolas Batum’s huge defensive play in the clutch that preserved the victory for France. But at least for Mavs fans, there doesn’t seem to be anything much to worry about Doncic’s injury, which should heal up soon.

With Slovenia out of contention for the Olympics gold medal, Doncic and company will be going for a bronze medal instead against Australia, which got knocked out by Team USA in the earlier semifinals match.
