Following the shocking news that came out recently about the turmoil within the Dallas Mavericks organization, their owner, Mark Cuban, has not spoken publicly yet about it apart from the official statement the organization released. That changed recently though as the 59-year-old billionaire made it known how he feels about the controversy the Mavs are currently in.

Cuban said that he is embarrassed that it happened under his ownership and that he vows to fix the problem the soonest.

The issue stemmed from a former official of the franchise who allegedly harassed a female employee three years ago with some remarks that were uncalled for. While the Mavericks acknowledged the issue by letting everyone know that they are currently investigating the matter, they also made it clear that the official is no longer connected with them and had already left. No more details were given in the statement, but they added that they will continue with the investigation until the truth comes out as there is no room for such acts which are not aligned with the practices of their organization.

The situation of the Mavs is definitely something worth keeping an eye on and it will be very interesting to see how things will pan out for them, and what exact actions Cuban will do to control the damage. It is a challenge for him to make all his employees feel safe and secured at work, and could also cause as a distraction to their players once they take on the court once again later this week.
