The NBA is a competition, but that doesn't mean players can't have fun. Just take it from Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic, who poked fun at Utah Jazz forward Joe Ingles for traveling during the Mavs-Jazz game at Vivint Smart Home Arena.

Early in the second quarter of the game, Ingles attacked the basket and drew a foul. However, Doncic ā€” who was sitting on the bench at the time ā€” made sure to let him know that he traveled on the said play before laughing hard.

Obviously, Ingles knew it and also laughed it off with the Mavs youngster while on the court.

All fun and jokes aside, the Jazz and Mavs played out a competitive and tight game throughout. Unfortunately for Luka, Dallas lost the contest, 112-107, despite the team leading by double digits at the end of the first quarter.

Rudy Gobert led the Jazz with a monstrous double-double of 22 points, 17 rebounds, two assists and five blocks in 37 minutes of play. Donovan Mitchell and Bojan Bogdanovic, meanwhile, chipped in 25 and 23 points, respectively.

For his part, Joe Ingles finished with nine points, four rebounds, five assists and two steals in 29 minutes of play.

On the other hand, Luka Doncic capped off the night 25 points, six rebounds, seven assists and two steals in a losing effort for the Mavs.
