The Houston Rockets have traded the rights to Michael Beasley to the Milwaukee Bucks for point guard Tyler Ennis, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

While this seems like an uneven trade, it's a matter of needs for both of these teams.

Michael Beasley to Milwaukee: What's in it for the Bucks?

After the recent of news of Khris Middleton being sidelined for six months, the Bucks were in dire need of a player that can put up buckets in a hurry – a need that Michael Beasley can certainly address.

The move will likely result in Jabari Parker sliding to the three-spot while Giannis Antetokounmpo plays the shooting guard position, with Beasley playing the four if he's able to crack the starting rotation.

Tyler Ennis to Houston: What's in it for the Rockets?

Houston had a major surplus of forwards on their roster. With Ryan Anderson, Donatas Motiejunas, Josh Smith and Nene vying for plausible minutes at power forward, it was time to let Beasley find a niche somewhere else.

The addition of Ennis will give the Rockets a young third point guard that can step in place of Patrick Beverley or Pablo Prigioni.

As a third-year guard, he still has a lot to learn, but the Syracuse alum has the talent to be a capable player in this league.
