The Golden State Warriors recently signed highly coveted free agent Kevin Durant in a heavily-awaited decision released on the Players Tribune this past 4th of July. However, it appears that NBA executives around the league are more frustrated by the Warriors' acquisition of veteran center Zaza Pachulia from the Dallas Mavericks, according to a tweet from hoops insider Zach Lowe.

Pachulia reportedly passed up on a number of lucrative deals throughout the league during free agency in order to join the northern California powerhouse roster for a meager $2.9 million. The fact that the Warriors can draw solid talent below its market price has made many front offices around the association frustrated.

Pachulia joins Kevin Durant as the two free agent signings for the Warriors so far, and with the addition of Durant, Pachulia will likely play a starting role for head coach Steve Kerr's rotation. Golden State renounced the rights of injury-plagued back-up center Festus Ezili, while also securing a trade for Australian starting center Andrew Bogut in order to create cap space for Durant.

Pachulia's acquisition has only made waves because of how cheap the 6'11” center signed with the Warriors, helping their cap flexibility. With the Warriors finding intrigue from many veteran free agents around the NBA, how Golden State fills the rest of their roster under heavy cap space restrictions will definitely be one of the bigger stories for the rest of free agency.
