The Toronto Raptors took it to the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, coming away with an impressive 118-109 victory. Draymond Green acknowledged the Warriors really struggled to deal with the Raptors' speed, per Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

Toronto racked up 24 fast-break points to 17 for Golden State. The Raptors also scored 17 points off 17 Warriors turnovers.

Pascal Siakam played a huge role in this, using his skills, speed and athleticism to get out in transition and get easy baskets. The Cameroonian forward even noted after the game how this was a major key to his 32-point performance.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr lamented his team's transition defense, noting they must do a better job of getting back. Golden State clearly didn't match Toronto's intensity and didn't lock in enough on either end of the floor.

Now facing a deficit after Game 1 of the NBA Finals for the first time in the Kerr era, expect the Warriors to bring a much better effort to the table in Game 2. While losing the first two games isn't a death sentence, the two-time defending champions don't want to get into that kind of hole, especially with Kevin Durant likely not returning until Game 4 at Oracle Arena.

Game 2 is on Sunday night.
