Many consider Giannis Antetokounmpo — the reigning league MVP — as one of, if not the best player in the game today. This does not seem to be the case to retired former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins, who believes that Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis is better than Giannis.

Big Perk took to Twitter to voice out his opinion on the matter:

Kendrick Perkins makes a pretty good argument here, but at the end of the day, Giannis Antetokounmpo is the MVP. Experts also have the Greek Freak as the favorite to win the 2019-20 MVP award. Nevertheless, this pair is arguably two of the Top 5 players in the NBA today, and anyone would be hard-pressed to pick one from the other.

Perkins seems to have something to say about everything these days, and it appears that he enjoys comparing players while also vehemently defending his claims.

Previously, Perkins expressed his opinion about how he believes James Harden of the Houston Rockets is a much better player as opposed to Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry. Perk appears to have jumped on the Harden bandwagon pretty hard, as he also claimed that Harden's recent weight loss instantly propels the Rockets as the favorites to win the NBA championship this season.

A lot of guys have their own way of trying to stay relevant in their post-NBA careers, and for Perkins, it seems that he has struck gold with his knack for coming out with rather controversial statements. It sure seems to be working, as we have been putting out exactly 2.56413 articles about Big Perk every single day.
