When you're the offspring of an NBA player, you pretty much get what you want. This is exactly the case for the young son of Isaiah Thomas, who just launched what seems like his first rap single.

This is no joke. Thomas even shared the music video of the new track via his own Twitter account:

While other kids have to settle with camera phones and webcams to pursue their hopes to be vloggers/YouTubers, “Lil Jay Jay” gets a full production crew. Clearly, Thomas is in full support of his son's dream to be a rapper one day.

Isaiah Thomas may need to rely more heavily on Jay Jay's rapping skills in the near future, now that he remains jobless. The last we saw of the 5-foot-9 point guard was with the Washington Wizards this season. He played 40 games for the Wizards this term before he was included in a three-team trade in February. Thomas landed with the Los Angeles Clippers, who ultimately waived him just a few days after acquiring him in the deal.

While there were some teams that showed some interest in Thomas prior to the restart, no one actually placed an offer on the table.

Thomas is anything but done, though, and the 31-year-old is still hopeful that he gets picked up in the offseason. He averaged 12.2 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 3.7 assists for the Wizards as a starter this season, so there's no denying that he still has at least some gas left in the tank.
