To ensure that its players and staff are entertained in the bubble location in Orlando, the NBA will set up gaming hubs, pool and ping pong tables, film theaters, and the like. In connection with this, sources reveal that the NBA, Disney, and EA Sports are in talks to deliver early copies of Madden 21 for league personnel to play.

Per Keith Smith of Yahoo Sports, the Madden 21 is slated to be released on August 25. But NBA players may have a chance to play the much-awaited game before everyone else.

In connection with an early copy of Madden 21, NBA personnel and their families, too, might be able to watch Marvel’s Black Widow — a film that has yet to be shown to the public. It was initially slated to premiere on May 1. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic which deemed mass gatherings illegal, the premiere has currently been set to Nov. 6.

None of these have been etched in stone. Be as it may, it’s certainly one of the perks of being an NBA player right now. From the looks of it, the league is bent on keeping the players entertained so they have no reason to leave the bubble location in Disney. After all, one single coronavirus case could be the end of the 2019-20 season for good.

The NBA has announced that the 2019-20 season will tentatively restart on July 31. 22 teams will play eight more regular-season games to determine their seedings. If the games begin on the said date as tentatively scheduled, then The Finals would end no later than Oct. 12.
