It's no secret that Shaquille O'Neal is one of the most successful ex-NBA players these days. The Hall of Fame big man has made quite a fortune in his post-basketball career through all sorts of business ventures that have proven to be quite profitable. Right now, though, it is clear that Shaq has a burning desire to make an NBA comeback.

O'Neal obviously won't be playing. However, the 50-year-old has now made it abundantly clear that he wants to become the owner of one of his former teams: the Orlando Magic:

“Listen we still run that franchise. If they wanna sell it to us, DeVos family, we're ready to go right now,” O'Neal said on The Big Podcast (h/t Jeremy Brener of FanNation). “This message go out to the DeVos family, if you're ready to sell Orlando Magic, sell it to somebody who's gonna take it to the next level, that's us. D[ennis] Scott and then, D Scott can pick everybody else. Smart people combined with common sense people and people that's been there before, you can't go wrong.”

Shaq makes it as clear as day. He wants to own the Magic and he's now made a public declaration of his intention. O'Neal also announced that he intends to partner up with former Magic teammate Dennis Scott, who also appears to be very interested in the prospect.

Shaq has a great sense of humor and he has been known to crack a joke every now and again. However, he seems to be dead serious about his desire to own the Magic.
