Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid and Denver Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic have been named the NBA's Players of the Week for their respective conferences.

In three games last week, Joel Embiid averaged 31.7 points, 16.3 rebounds 3.3 assists, 2.0 blocks and 1.7 steals over 35.4 minutes a night while shooting 47.5 percent from the floor and 83.3 percent from the free-throw line.

His most impressive performance of the week came during a 132-127 win over the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday. He racked up 42 points, 18 rebounds, three steals and a couple of blocks for the Sixers while going 12-of-23 from the floor and 17-of-19 from the charity stripe.

On the season overall, Embiid is averaging 26.9 points, 13.5 boards, 3.5 assists and 1.9 blocks across 33.9 minutes per game. He is also making 48.4 percent of his field-goal attempts, 29.7 percent of his three-point tries and 80.5 percent of his foul shots.

Jokic also played in three contests for the Nuggets last week, nearly averaging a triple-double with 28.0 points, 13.0 rebounds and 9.0 assists. He played 33.3 minutes per game during that stretch, converting on 54 percent of his field goals, 36.8 percent of his triples and 75 percent of his free throws.

His best game of the week came last Saturday in a 123-110 victory over the Charlotte Hornets as he posted 39 points, 12 boards, six dimes and three steals while shooting 16-of-29 from the field and making three treys.

Overall this year, Jokic is registering 18.8 points, 10.0 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 1.5 steals over 31.2 minutes per game, making 50 percent of his shots, 31.8 percent of his attempts from deep and 83.6 percent of his foul shots.

The Sixers will play host to the Washington Wizards on Tuesday night while the Nuggets will head on the road to battle the Houston Rockets on Monday.
