Veteran NBA point guard Jarrett Jack has a new home. However, it is not atop the NBA level as the 35-year-old has elected to sign with the Sioux Falls SkyFoce, the G League affiliate of the Miami Heat.

Per the NBA's official statement:

“The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team has acquired 13-year NBA veteran Jarrett Jack off of waivers. Jack will wear No. 6 for Sioux Falls and will be available for the first time when the team travels to take on the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Saturday, March 9 at 7:00PM CT.”

Over the course of his lengthy NBA career, Jack has made appearances for the Portland Trail Blazers, Indiana Pacers, Toronto Raptors, New Orleans Pelicans, Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers, Brooklyn Nets and the New York Knicks.

Now a 13-year NBA veteran, the former Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets standout has already appeared in 867 career NBA games, including 399 starts. Jack has career averages of 10.8 points, 2.9 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game while shooting 44.0 percent from the field, 34.3 percent from deep and 85.5 percent from the charity stripe.

Although it isn't quite the highest level, Jarrett Jack could very well make his way back to the NBA this season if he proves he can still produce and help a playoff contender.
