The Milwaukee Bucks blew out the Portland Trail Blazers last night 137-108 on the road. They continue their road trip into LA and will face the Lakers Tuesday night. Milwaukee is (33-21) on the season which puts them 3rd in the Eastern Conference. The Los Angeles Clippers are back to .500 on the season after beating the Lakers by one point last Thursday night. LA is 8th in the West and has a tough opponent in front of them to try and regain a winning record.

Why The Bucks Could Cover The Spread

Milwaukee is (6-4) in their last 10 games with an average of 113.4 points per game. LA is pretty similar with a (6-4) record and averaging 115.4 points per game. The Bucks can cover this spread against the Clippers if all three of their stars show up tonight. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, and Jrue Holiday all need to play well to beat this team. The Clippers are finding ways to win games despite not having Pual George and Kawhi Leonard. It's become the Marcus Morris Sr., Reggie Jackson, and Luke Kennard show as those three have been playing very well all season. Bucks will need to try and contain those three but will also need to take on some new Clippers' faces in this game.

The Bucks are (14-12) on the road and the Clippers are (16-12) at home. This should be a good battle between two teams that play well in this position. The Clippers aren't backing down from anyone as they remain competitive with a slightly above average roster. As for the Bucks, they are the defending champs and have the talent to repeat. They need this win to put them a half-game behind the conference lead. They currently trail the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat by one game.

Why The Clippers Could Cover The Spread

The Clippers acquired Southern California native Normal Powell and Robert Covington from the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for Eric Bledsoe, Justise Winslow, Keon Johnson, and a 2025 second-round pick via the Detroit Pistons. Those two are set to play tonight against the Bucks pending any setbacks, according to Tomer Azarly. That will give the Clippers two elite wings and they are both great on the defensive end. Powell was electric with the Blazers this season and will give the Clippers a much-needed scoring option until George gets back.

This will still be a tough game to cover tonight. They come in as underdogs which is the right call, but it's not a big enough spread where they can easily cover. LA must be in this game until the final shot or else the Bucks will cover this game with a 4-point win. LA needs to try and shut down Antetokounmpo and Middleton or else it will be a long night for them. Neither squad is good against the spread this season as they both have losing records. Something will give tonight, however, as both teams are looking for a huge win.

Final Bucks-Clippers Prediction & Pick

Take the Bucks in this game even though the Clippers did get better over the weekend. Milwaukee is the better team and should win this game on the road.

Final Bucks-Clippers Prediction & Pick: Bucks -3.5 (-110)
