The Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors will matchup on Friday night in a Western Conference matchup. It's time to continue our NBA odds series with a Suns-Warriors prediction and pick.

The Suns and Warriors will meet for the second time this week on Friday, this time in California. Phoenix beat Golden State at home on Tuesday, but lost Devin Booker to a hamstring injury in the process. Now the Suns will be on the road looking to extend their win streak to 19 games, but without their star shooting guard. Chris Paul will look to lead the Suns to a win vs. the Warriors, who are an impeccable 11-1 at home so far this season. This will be a difficult challenge for Phoenix, who comes into play as fairly big underdogs to the Warriors.

Here are the Suns-Warriors odds for this Friday NBA matchup, courtesy of FanDuel.

Why The Suns Can Cover The Spread

The Suns are on fire right now, but this is going to be tough. Golden State has been incredible at home this season, and Booker being out makes things even tougher. Still, there is a path to Phoenix extending their winning streak Friday night. Chris Paul leads the NBA in assists, and will need to have the Suns' offense clicking to upset the Warriors on their own floor. The Suns are a deep team and guys like Mikal Bridges, Jae Crowder and Cameron Payne will need to pick up the scoring if they are going to win this game without Booker. Stephen Curry had his worst game of the season in Tuesday's loss in Phoenix, but it's unlikely the Suns will be able to count on another performance like that from the shooting GOAT.

The Suns are 9-1 on the road this season, so pulling out the win wouldn't be the craziest thing here despite the absence of Booker. Paul is certainly capable of carrying a team, and will have the help he needs to do. Phoenix is 12-10 vs. the spread this season, and could be in good position for another cover getting this many points. Phoenix is however on a back-to-back as they beat the Detroit Pistons at home on Thursday.

Why The Warriors Can Cover The Spread

Stephen Curry and the Warriors have been off since Tuesday when the Suns gave them their third loss of the season. Curry scored just 12 points in that game, shooting 4-of-21 from the floor and 3-of-14 from three. Golden State will be looking for revenge vs. a Suns team that is now down their best scorer and on a back-to-back. The Warriors will be without Andre Iguodala on Friday, but otherwise will be healthy in regards to the players they have been playing with so far this season. Klay Thompson and James Wiseman are still working their way back with the G League affiliate.

The Warriors should be a in a good spot to cover and win on Friday with the rest advantage, as they are 15-5-1 vs. the spread so far this season.

Final Suns-Warriors Prediction & Pick

Take the Warriors to win and cover over the Suns on Friday night. Golden State has not lost consecutive games yet this season, so don't expect them to as the healthier, more rested team in this matchup.

FINAL SUNS-WARRIORS PREDICTION & PICK: Warriors -7.5 (-108)
