The NBA schedule has yet to be released, but we're always hearing about potential leaks in the official schedule as the regular season nears. On Wednesday, Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe reported two highly anticipated games that could likely be scheduled on opening night.

First off, Washburn reports that TNT's double-header will be kicked off with the Philadelphia 76ers taking on the fully healthy Boston Celtics in a rematch of their 2018 semifinal playoff series. Both Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward are both expected to be ready for opening night, but the Celtics haven't put a timetable on either of their returns.

To close out the double-header, Washburn says TNT will have the Oklahoma City Thunder visiting the back-to-back NBA Champion Golden State Warriors. The Warriors will be receiving their 2018 NBA Championship rings and hoisting up their title banner, placing it alongside their 2015 and 2017 banners.

This report still hasn't been confirmed and, of course, is subject to change. This would be a very intriguing opening night lineup, however, despite the absence of one LeBron James and his new-look Los Angeles Lakers.
