Brooklyn Nets rising star Caris LeVert suffered a gruesome ankle injury Monday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves, an injury that looked very similar to the one Boston Celtics small forward Gordon Hayward suffered last season.
LeVert had to be carried off in a stretcher.

Caris LeVert is only 24-years-old. This is just a heartbreaking moment for a kid who was really having a good start to the season. In 13 games this year, LeVert was averaging 19.0 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists while shooting 47.7 percent from the field, 32.8 percent from beyond the arc and 72.1 percent from the free-throw line.
Caris LeVert will surely miss the rest of the season now. Prayers up for Caris LeVert and his family.
