James Harden is not taking a step-back this time. Instead of remaining silent about the Saweetie rumors, the Brooklyn Nets star chose to address the issue and fire some strong words for those who made it up.

On Instagram, Harden called the story fake news and pointed out that he is “tired” of all the people who are spreading such rumors just for clout.

“I’m tired of people creating these false a** stories knowing I really don’t speak on the bull****. Leave me out of all the weird s***. S*** trash. Back to my real life,” the Nets guard wrote on his IG Stories, per Ajayi Brown of USA Today.

“People really on here just making s*** up for clout. I really stay out the way. CashApp 100K? Beat it.”

For those not in the know, the rumor mill is active once again after a report claimed that James Harden sent a “$100,000 Cash App gift” to Saweetie. After which, the former MVP allegedly asked the rapper on a date. There is also the talk that the two might be dating now after the reported massive gesture from Harden.

Prior to his massive rant, though, Harden already appeared to react to the rumor when he tweeted a “cap” emoji–seemingly calling the news as a lie, which is consistent to his latest reaction.

It's unlikely Harden will talk more about the issue given that he said he wants to stay away from it, and that is certainly what the Nets would want as well. Harden remains out in their playoff series against the Milwaukee Bucks due to a hamstring injury, and Brooklyn will really need him to focus on his recovery after the Bucks won Game 3 and cut the deficit to just 2-1.

Simply put, Harden has no time for the Saweetie rumors.
