Kyrie Irving had his best game of the season on Wednesday as the Brooklyn Nets edged out the Washington Wizards, 119-118. After his eyebrow-raising performance, the seven-time All-Star made sure to give back a little to a lucky young fan that was in attendance at Washington's Capital One Arena.

After the game, Kyrie handed his game-worn shoes to a young Nets fan that had his jersey on. Irving also signed the pair before handing it over to the understandably ecstatic kid (h/t Ballislife.com on Twitter):

Say what you want about Kyrie Irving, but what cannot be denied is that he's a pretty straight-up dude.

He's quite the baller too, with the 29-year-old leading the shorthanded Nets to a tightly-contested win over Bradley Beal and the Wizards. Irving finished with a game-high and season-high 30 points on 13-of-23 shooting to go along with three rebounds, seven assists, and a steal in 38 minutes of play. This was a nice bounce-back win for Brooklyn following Monday's loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Kyrie is expected to suit up for the Nets for their upcoming two games. Brooklyn takes on the Spurs in San Antonio on Friday before closing out their four-game road spell against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday.
