Top free agents Kawhi Leonard and Tobias Harris will likely consider signing with the Brooklyn Nets this summer.

Leonard could opt of the final year of his contract with the Toronto Raptors to become a free agent in the offseason. If he hits the market, the Raptors forward will be one of the most coveted free agents this summer. While the Nets are not considered heavy favorites, Anthony Puccio of SNY believes the Nets will get “at least a look” from Kawhi.

Nets general manager Sean Marks reportedly has a good relationship with Leonard's uncle and advisor Dennis Robertson. Marks also spent time with Leonard during their time together with the San Antonio Spurs. Nets assistant coach and scout Tiago Splitter also played alongside Leonard for four seasons in San Antonio.

Brooklyn's strong performance this season improved their chances of landing top-tier free agents this summer. And according one source, the connection the Nets have to Leonard will likely earn them a meeting with Leonard.

Leonard missed all but nine games for San Antonio last season due to an injury. But despite missing the majority of last season, Leonard looked like a player who has not missed a beat. In 60 games, the 27-year-old superstar averaged 26.6 points on 49.6 percent shooting from the field.

Aside from Leonard, the Nets reportedly has a shot at luring Harris. Harris is currently enjoying his stint with the Philadelphia 76ers, but his connection to the Nets, particularly head coach Kenny Atkinson, is making him a possible target for Brooklyn this summer.

Harris started the season with the Los Angeles Clippers before he was dealt to the 76ers before the deadline in February. In 27 games with the 76ers, the 26-year-old forward averaged 18.2 points despite playing alongside fellow superstars Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, and Jimmy Butler.
