While half of the league reportedly has interest in trading for Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant, only few have a legitimate chance of landing him. Now according to the latest odds, the Phoenix Suns and Toronto Raptors are heavy favorites.

The Suns leading the race doesn't come as a surprise, especially since they were one of KD's preferred destinations. Not to mention that there have been reports that he's interested in playing for head coach Monty Williams.

As for the Raptors, they emerged as dark horse candidates recently. However, new intel has revealed their optimism on giving the Nets the best package they can get for the superstar forward. There has also been talks about how Durant is open to the idea of playing in Toronto.

The Miami Heat have the third best odds, and perhaps that is in large part to their restrictions in trading for Kevin Durant. For one, KD reportedly only wants to join the South Beach franchise if they can keep their core. Things also get a little bit tricky since the team cannot trade Bam Adebayo to the Nets as long as Ben Simmons is there because of the designated rookie extension rule.

It is interesting that the Nets are fourth on the list, which highlights the possibility of him staying in Brooklyn if the Nets don't get the right deal for him.

A lot of other teams have been mentioned, though the Golden State Warriors' inclusion is particularly noteworthy. After all, they are said to be interested in a reunion with KD as well–even if a move for him will require a massive package that might sacrifice their future.

With how things currently stand, it is unknown where Durant will end up with. Nonetheless, it might take some time before he's traded, and so fans will have to be a little bit more patient.
