The Toronto Raptors have been linked with a potential trade for Kevin Durant, and according to the latest rumors, the Brooklyn Nets star isn't against the idea of moving to Canada.

As Michael Grange of SportsNet reported, there is at least a growing sense that Durant is open to playing in Toronto with the Raptors if the team ends up trading for him.

There is also a sense – though it’s reading tea leaves at this stage, as teams can’t communicate directly with Durant, who remains under contract with the Nets – that the two-time champion and 11-time all-NBA force of nature is at least open to the possibility of playing in Toronto.

Kevin Durant has been on the headlines as of late after it was revealed that he demanded a trade from the Nets. Brooklyn is reportedly listening to offers, with several teams having already called them to inquire about KD.

The Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat are said to be on top of Durant's wish list for his preferred trade destinations. However, the Nets are not obliged to give in to his desire.

At the end of the day, Brooklyn will be looking to get the best return they can for Durant–with their asking price said to be a combination of a superstar, young rising star and a number of unprotected first-round picks and pick swaps.

The Raptors have plenty of assets they can offer for Durant, though the fan base will probably be split should they decide to go all-out and mortgage their future to win now.
