Free agent small forward Wilson Chandler has reached an agreement with the Brooklyn Nets, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

Chandler split this past season with the Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Clippers. He'll join Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, DeAndre Jordan and Garrett Temple as the newest additions to the Nets.

In 2018-19 with the Sixers and Clippers, Chandler averaged 6.0 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists while shooting 41.8 percent from the field, 37.3 percent from beyond the arc and 72.0 percent from the free-throw line. The 32-year-old Michigan native has career averages of 12.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 641 NBA games with the New York Knicks, Denver Nuggets, Sixers and Clippers.

The Nets are going to make a lot of noise next season even though Durant will likely miss the entire year recovering from his right Achilles tear. Irving is a superstar point guard, Jordan and Jarrett Allen will man the frontcourt, Temple and Chandler will provide defense and shooting on the wings, while Caris LeVert, Spencer Dinwiddie and Joe Harris will continue to build off the seasons they had in 2018-19.

Brooklyn head coach Kenny Atkinson will have a bunch of lineups he'll be able to use and figures to have fun with the different tactics he can use on a nightly basis.

Wilson Chandler was part of the infamous Carmelo Anthony trade between the Knicks and Nuggets back in 2011.

Now, he'll return to New York to continue his career with a Nets team which will surely get a lot of national TV games next season.
