Brooklyn Nets wingman Wilson Chandler is facing a 25-game suspension from the NBA for using performance enhancing drugs, according to a report from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

An official ruling on Chandler's case is expected to be announced at some point on Thursday, according to ESPN:

Chandler signed with the Nets on July 8, inking a one-year, veteran's minimum contract. The 32-year-old has played for several teams over the course of his career in the NBA, including the New York Knicks, Denver Nuggets, Philadelphia 76ers and L.A. Clippers.

Chandler split the 2018-19 season with the Sixers and Clippers. He made 36 appearances with Philly (32 starts), racking up averages of 6.7 points on 44.0 percent shooting from the field (39.0 percent from beyond the arc), 4.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 26.4 minutes per outing.

If Wilson Chandler's suspension holds up, he wouldn't be making his Nets debut until Dec. 15 against the 76ers.

The Nets finished the 2018-19 regular season with a 42-40 overall record, which earned the team a No. 6 seed in the Eastern Conference Playoffs. Unfortunately, though, Brooklyn was defeated by the Sixers in the opening round.
