Brooklyn Nets center Jarrett Allen is developing a penchant for blocking superstar players from dunking.

Today, Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is his latest victim, with the Greek Freak denied mercilessly at the rim by Jarrett Allen.

Early in the first quarter of the Nets-Bucks matchup, Allen soared high to meet Giannis Antetokounmpo and stop him from doubling Milwaukee’s lead. It was the 20-year-old big man’s first block of the game, and he couldn’t ask for a better start.

Allen is undoubtedly becoming famous now for his reverse posterizer. Notably, he also did it to Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James a couple of weeks ago.

The block grabbed headlines because it was only the ninth time in his career that LeBron’s dunk had been blocked.

Sure enough, if Allen keeps this up and maintains the confidence that he can block anyone, he’ll become one of the best shot-blockers in the league in no time. Entering their game with the Bucks, the Nets big man is making 1.4 blocks per contest this season – ranked 20th in the NBA.

Allen is also posting averages of 11.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists on a nightly basis.
