Ohio State EDGE rusher and top defensive prospect Chase Young admitted he has dreamt about what it would be like to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

But with the draft just one day away, Young said he is leaving his fate in God's hands (via Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk):

“I have probably thought about every situation that can happen,” Young replied, “but I feel like at the end of the day it is not in our hands it is in God’s hands, so that is what I think about that. So I’m just going to sit back and not even worry about who might draft me and just let everything happen on its own. I’m not going to sit here and keep worrying or keep thinking this or keep thinking that, so I’m just going to let everything happen, and whatever God’s plan is that is going to work for me.”

Young does not seem to have much to worry about, given he almost assuredly will be one of the first two names off the board on Thursday.

The Cincinnati Bengals are widely expected to take LSU quarterback Joe Burrow with the first pick, but Young is the most likely guy to come off the board next.

Young is a tremendous defensive talent. He tallied 16.5 sacks and seven forced fumbles in 12 games for the Buckeyes last season, showcasing an overpowering blend of speed and strength off the edge.

While Young might get the distinction of being the No. 1 pick, he has all the tools to be the best player in this year's class.
