Former Ole Miss Rebels wide receiver and 2019 NFL Draft prospect D.K. Metcalf has repeatedly been talked about as one of the most talented — if not the most talented — pass catchers in this year's pool of talent. As a result, it hardly comes as a surprise that the Seattle Seahawks have selected Metcalf with the No. 64 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Picking up some serious steam in terms of media coverage as this spring has grown older, Metcalf made some significant waves upon posting an absolutely ridiculous picture of his physique on social media earlier in the year.

“Big, explosive talent with projectable upside to become a home-run threat as a WR1,” reads Metcalf's 2019 NFL Draft profile on NFL.com. “Teams seek out pass-catchers with rare height, weight and speed dimensions and Metcalf has those for days. While he has the talent to become a full-field threat, Metcalf is still an unpolished gem who was the second-best receiver on his college team. Until his skill-set is more developed, he could begin his career as a hit-or-miss long-ball threat. However, once it clicks, defenses could struggle to find solutions for him.”
Despite standing at 6'3″ while weighing just under 230 pounds, the soon-to-be rookie wideout still produced a sub-4.4 40-yard dash time at this year's NFL Scouting Combine. Adding to his impressive résumé, Metcalf also tallied 27 reps on the bench press at the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine.

Thanks to both his size and playmaking ability, Metcalf is no doubt ready to contribute at the NFL level with upcoming 2019 campaign looming large.
