Earlier this offseason, there were some who considered Ohio State's Dwayne Haskins to be the best quarterback prospect in this year's NFL Draft class, but the closer the NFL Draft gets, the more Haskins' stock appears to be dropping.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, some teams do not even think Haskins is a first-round talent, which is a rather shocking revelation given how much praised was placed upon him a few months ago.

However, just because some clubs don't think Haskins should be drafted in the first round doesn't mean he will fall past No. 32, as Schefter does state that he thinks the signal-caller will go somewhere between Nos. 10 and 17.

Even then, that is still a rather big dropoff when you take into consideration that many felt he would be a top-five pick earlier this offseason.

The natural fit for Haskins seems to be the New York Giants at No. 6. The Giants are in need of a young quarterback, and Haskins grew up in New Jersey and has been a life-long Giants fan.

But, with other quarterbacks—such as Missouri's Drew Lock—also potentially being on the board at that spot, it seems like a possibility that New York may decide to go in a different direction.

Haskins is coming off of a terrific sophomore campaign in which he threw for 4,831 yards, 50 touchdowns and eight interceptions while completing 70 percent of his passes and registering a passer rating of 174.1.

Obviously, the numbers are there, but it appears that some teams are a bit worried about his lack of mobility.
