Antonio Brown was handed an eight-game suspension on Friday. It appears he won't fight the suspension from the NFL. According to the NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Brown won't be appealing his eight-game suspension.

While NFL news was funneling in on Friday, it was reported that the league was giving Antonio Brown an eight-game suspension. The suspension was given to the troubled wideout for violating the league's conduct policy.

Earlier this offseason, Antonio Brown was involved in an incident involving a moving truck driver. However, the suspension doesn't punish Brown for the ongoing investigation between the All-pro wideout and his former trainer.

Antonio Brown is slated to appear in court in September to speak about the allegations. At the same time, his eight-game suspension is set to begin on September 5. That is nearly a week before the regular season is scheduled to begin.

Of course, Antonio Brown remains a free agent and has shown interest in returning to the NFL in 2020. Up to this point, the Seattle Seahawks and the Baltimore Ravens have been floated around as teams that could inquire about Brown.

After receiving a suspension, teams around the league have a better grasp of when Brown can take the field this season. Therefore, even at 32 years old, Antonio Brown should garner some interest from teams in the NFL.

Even though he's continually created issues in recent seasons, Antonio Brown seems to be content with the suspension he was given by the NFL. Especially since a suspension can create some progress toward him joining a new team in the upcoming season.
