With the scouting process for the 2020 NFL Draft still in full swing, teams are doing their due diligence at notable pro days around the country. Unfortunately, it appears they will have to work their way around some self-restrictions due to concerns about the coronavirus.

According to Eric Edholm of Yahoo Sports, the Philadelphia Eagles and New Orleans Saints have decided to take precautions with their staff by not having them travel to these events.

The Philadelphia Eagles and New Orleans Saints have pulled their coaches off the road for the pro-day circuit, at least temporarily, as a precautionary measure as the country grapples with the spread of the coronavirus, multiple sources told Yahoo Sports.

Although these teams will not be sending any of their staff to the pro day workouts, they will still have scouts in attendance that are based nearby. Regardless, it is indicative of how the concerns regarding the coronavirus have made their way into the NFL.

The Eagles and the Saints are not be the only ones looking to take precautions for their coaches leading up to the draft. The report also added that every team in the league has discussed taking their own form of action. Fortunately, they do not seem to be as significant as the ones that the NBA is taking by possibly moving games to cities that have not been affected by the coronavirus. Of course, it remains to be seen whether or not the concerns continue into the draft and ultimately the 2020 NFL season.
