The NFL Draft is right around the corner and as teams feverishly work to evaluate the incoming class of players it would be helpful if all the teams knew exactly where each pick they had was.

Compensatory picks are how the league tries to bring some competitive balance following free agency. Officials award extra picks at the end of the third through seventh rounds based on the disparity between players who left a team in free agency and those who signed. 32 picks are awarded every year.

One of the biggest winners was the New England Patriots, as the Super Bowl Champions added a bit to their embarrassment of riches with the 97th and the 101st overall picks. The Los Angles Rams, who lost to the Patriots in the Super Bowl, were also given the 98th and 99th overall picks, but they sent the better of those two picks to Jacksonville in October in exchange for pass rusher Dante Fowler Jr.

Arizona, New England, and Washington were given four extra selections, the maximum, after losing several free agents last spring. The Rams, Vikings, and Bengals were each given three additional selections in this spring's draft.
