Nick Foles is one of those few quarterbacks who could say he has gotten the best of Tom Brady when it really mattered. As a former rival of Brady, retired NFL star Peyton Manning knew this and took advantage.

During “The Match,” a doubles golf tournament between Manning, Brady and golf legends Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson, the former Denver Broncos QB took a jab at Brady.

Manning joked that he should have used Foles as his caddy if he wanted to beat Brady on the golf course since the Super Bowl champion famously bested Brady in Super Bowl LII when he was with the Philadelphia Eagles.

As the only other NFL QB to beat Brady in the Super Bowl, Manning also suggested he should've gotten his brother Eli to caddy for him as well.

Even without Foles or his brother Eli as his caddy, Manning was able to top his longtime NFL rival on Sunday. Manning, along with partner Tiger Woods, bested their opponents by winning the match 1 up in a rainy afternoon in Hobe Sound, Florida.

As a response to Peyton Manning's jab at Tom Brady, Nick Foles — now with the Chicago Bears — took to Twitter to join on the fun.

As for the event itself, per Will Gray of The Golf Channel, “The Match” raised over $20 million for several charities assisting in COVID-19 relief efforts. Additionally, with most major sports events being canceled amid the ongoing pandemic, the charity golf match provided some much-needed sports entertainment to anyone that tuned in.
