TMZ Sports reported on Monday that Tom Brady's pants from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' playoff loss to the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Wild Card game on January 16, 2023, fetched $89,100 at Grey Flannel Auctions, exceeding the minimum price of $10,000 by a significant margin.
The pants, marked with the date on the waistband and the Bucs No. 12 tag, fetched a significant sum. However, this amount is considerably lower than the jersey worn in the same game, which was sold previously for a whopping $1.39 million.

Brady's suggestion of a possible return to the season as an injury replacement earlier this year may influence the worth of items such as the “last game ever” pants and jersey, including everything he wore during that match, which is currently considered his most recent final game.
In 2022, the ball from Brady's final touchdown pass sold for $518,000. However, the auction house voided the sale after Brady's retirement announcement. This time, anyone investing in Brady's “very last” items should be aware that he might retire for a second time, potentially affecting their future value.
Brady's performance in the game didn’t fit the billing as Tampa Bay lost 31-14. He went 35-of-66 for 351 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception that was overshadowed by Dak Prescott's four touchdown passes on the other side.
