Until an official decision is made, there is going to be plenty of speculation of where Tom Brady plays in 2020. Amid the speculation, former New England Patriots quarterback Scott Zolak said to “not fall asleep” on Brady signing with the New York Giants.

Since it's become a possibility that Brady could leave the New England Patriots, quite a few teams have been named as possible landing spots. However, not many people have named the Giants as a possible suitor for the future Hall of Famer.

Brady, who turns 43 years old in August, is going to test free agency for the first time in his career. Despite his age, there is going to be a handful of teams expressing interest in his services.

As for the Giants, they would definitely be a surprising team to insert their names into the sweepstakes. Just last offseason, New York chose to select Daniel Jones with the No. 6 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Furthermore, Jones flashed some potential as a starting quarterback in the NFL in his rookie campaign.

Provided that, it would make little to no sense for the Giants to add Brady in the offseason. Nevertheless, Brady does have a connection with Joe Judge—the new head coach of the Giants.

Before taking the head coaching gig in New York, Judge was with the Patriots from 2012-2019. During his time in New England, Judge served as a special teams coordinator and wide receivers coach.

If Brady wants to sign with a team that provides him some familiarity, then the Giants make sense as candidates to sign him. But even with Zolak's comments, it's tough to envision New York pursuing him with Jones heading into his second season.
