Isaiah Thomas is one of the smallest guys in the league, but his Denver Nuggets teammates know him as one of the loudest guys on the team. He's only in his first season with the Nuggets and he hasn't even played a game yet, but his reputation as a big talker proceeds him, at least Jamal Murray is letting us believe as much.

“He’s a talker,” Jamal Murray said to Mike Singer of the Denver Post. “There you go. There’s your answer right there. He’s just loud. Smallest dude, but he’s the loudest dude. He makes sure everybody hears him.”

This is as relatable as it gets for some of us. As a fellow small guy (sorry, no pun intended), sometimes we have to be loud to make sure we're not being overlooked by anyone. That's just part of the gig when you're a shorter guy.

Thomas' size has never held him back before. Despite his 5-foot-9 frame, Thomas defies all logic with his ability to get to the rim and finish through contact. For now, Nuggets fans will have to exercise patience as Thomas continues his rehab from hip surgery.

But while the smallest guy in the room can sometimes be the most annoying guy in the room, Thomas' gregarious presence is bringing some life to Denver. The undersized point guard is making an impact despite his injury. IT is making every short guy proud by maintaining a large presence in the Denver locker room. He's also helping guys like Jamal Murray develop.

Now we can't wait to see what he can do when he finally gets back on the court.
