Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic was named 2020-21 NBA MVP on Tuesday night, and Nuggets head coach Michael Malone had the perfect outfit for the occasion. Malone wore a custom T-shirt to honor Jokic for his award that's absolutely incredible.

The front has a cartoon Jokic surrounded by a bunch of criticisms the Nuggets star has heard in his basketball career. It also features the Serbian flag. The back has “MVP” in bold gold letters and the phrase “Joke's On You.” And, of course, there's an image of Jokic as The Joker.

Check it out:

The joke is on a lot of people who doubted Jokic. His story is an incredible one after he was the No. 41 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. While the Nuggets obviously believed in him, I don't think anybody could have ever imaged he would turn out this good. By winning MVP, he became the first second-round pick in the common draft era to win the award. He's also the first MVP in Nuggets franchise history.

Jokic made an impact immediately upon entering the NBA in the 2015-16 season, and he has only gotten better from there. The 26-year-old has now made three consecutive All-Star Games and is about to make All-NBA for a third consecutive time.

This season, Jokic averaged 26.4 points, 10.8 rebounds and 8.3 assists in 34.6 minutes per game. He shot an impressive 56.6% from the field and 38.8% from 3-point range and played in all 72 games. His dominance carried over to the first round of the playoffs against the Portland Trail Blazers, and now he'll look to lead the Nuggets past the Phoenix Suns in the Western Conference Semifinals.

Jokic beat out Joel Embiid and Stephen Curry for MVP.
