Michael Porter Jr.'s talent is undeniable. The Denver Nuggets forward was the No. 1 ranked high school player in the class of 2017. Injuries have held the once-heralded prospect from reaching his full potential but now in his first healthy NBA season, Porter Jr. is showing glimpses of stardom.

Matched up with Mo Harkless on the wing, Porter Jr. cut to the basket and was able to put notorious defensive pest, Patrick Beverley, on a near-poster.

At half-time of the Nuggets game against the Los Angeles Clippers, the former No. 14 overall pick has put up nine points and two rebounds in just 10 minutes of play.

The 6-foot-10 forward out of Missouri spent all last season rehabbing from injury. Coming into this season, expectations were fairly high for the talented 21-year-old.

Coming off the bench for Denver, Michael Porter Jr. has often struggled to earn consistent playtime on a Nuggets team that is one of the most talented in the league. However, in the limited run that Porter Jr. does get, he has been impressive.

In just 10.6 minutes per game, the second-year pro is averaging 5.7 points and 2.8 rebounds per game and has shot over 50 percent from the field on the season.
