Luka Doncic has Slovenia rolling like a war machine in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. The Slovenians started their campaign in the Land of the Rising Sun by throwing the Argentinians outside the window in a 118-100 victory. Then they followed it up with another one-sided street fight against Japan, demolishing the host on their way to a 116-81 win.

Doncic shined once again in the Japan game, finishing the contest with 25 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, and countless defenders mortified with his performance —  including this entire phalanx of Japanese players who were left frozen on their tracks after witnessing a sick pass from the Dallas Mavericks star.

With the victory, Slovenia is now on top of Group C play with a 2-0 record. The true test for Doncic and his team will come this weekend when they face a fellow undefeated team in the group in the form of Spain. The Spanish are also 2-0 after thwarting Japan and Argentina.

Doncic is growing his legend in the Olympics. He nearly broke Oscar Schmidt’s single-game scoring record in the Olympics when he dropped 48 points in just 31 minutes of action in the win over Argentina. He’s far from done it seems, so it will be interesting to see what more he can pull off in the coming days.
