Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers revealed that he suffered a toe injury during his COVID quarantine earlier this month. Although he laughed about it at first, it seems like the injury might last longer than once anticipated.

Rodgers told the Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday that his injury will most likely linger on deeper into the season.

“I have a toe injury that's not going away, and I'm going to be dealing with it for at least the next few weeks,” Rodgers said.

When McAfee asked if the injury was to Rodgers' pinky toe, he nodded, but seems to be hesitant to reveal information on the injury.

The Packers star quarterback missed Week 9 against the Chiefs after testing positive for COVID-19. He then reportedly injured his pinky toe during quarantine and has now played two games with the injury.

The Packers shut out the Seattle Seahawks 17-0 in Week 10. This was Rodgers' first game back from COVID and Russell Wilson's first game back after his serious finger injury in Week 5. Green Bay fell to the Vikings in Minnesota 34-31 in their Week 11 matchup.

Although Rodgers said that the injury will linger, it doesn't seem to be affecting his abilities. In Week 11's loss, he threw for 385 yards and four touchdowns. Rodgers also ran for 21 yards, proving that the injury isn't hindering his ability to move out of the pocket.
