Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has recently returned to the team after a holding out all offseason due to various issues with the organization. Specifically, Rodgers had a problem with Packers GM Brian Gutekunst, who he even referred to as Jerry Krause, the hated General Manager of the Chicago Bulls dynasty.

However, it seems like their relationship is on the mend, especially after the Packers decided to run it back with wide receiver Randal Cobb, who is one of Rodgers' good friends.

The Packers QB has spoken out on the relationship between him and Gutekunst:

“I think it’s a work in progress for sure,” Rodgers said, via Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette. “I think relationships aren’t formed in a matter of a couple days. There’s time where respect grows, and the communication follows.”

With Rodgers now in camp, it's definitely taking a step in the right direction. He didn't shy away from putting the Packers' front office on blast though when he first spoke to the media last week, claiming that no one comes to Green Bay because it's a holiday destination, they come to play with him and contend for a Super Bowl.

At this point, I don't think the Packers care about Rodgers throwing shade at them. They're just happy to have their QB1 back ahead of the 2021 NFL season.
