The NFL and golf world are about to receive a real treat when Green Bay Packers star and Tampa Bay Buccaneers legend Tom Brady team up to take on Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes and Buffalo Bills signal-caller Josh Allen in Capital One's The Match, set to be played on June 1 and air on TNT.

There has been no shortage of trash talk between the quartet of quarterbacks, as Mahomes fired a shot at the two “old guys”, saying that he and Allen can drive the ball farther down the green.

For insight on the early NFL futures odds for the 2022 season, listen below:

During an appearance on TNT's Inside the NBA, Rodgers hilariously used Charles Barkley to roast Mahomes, as reported by Ed Easton Jr. of ChiefsWire.

Rodgers, referencing Barkley's well-documented struggles with his golf swing, roasted Mahomes for not yet breaking 80 on the course during an appearance at the American Century Championship at Lake Tahoe, saying that the Chiefs star belongs in a group with the ex-NBA star.

That's just cold from Rodgers, who added in the ‘no offense' at the end just to apologize for including Barkley as collateral damage in his Mahomes diss. All this back-and-forth trash talk is going to make the actual Match between the Packers superstar, Brady, the Chiefs star and Allen that much better.

June 1 can't come soon enough.
