On Monday, it was announced that Capital One's The Match would take place on June 1 at Wynn Las Vegas, featuring NFL stars Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers and Josh Allen. There's a “new age” vs “old age” feel to this golf showdown- and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes made sure everyone knows that with his hilarious roasting of ‘old men' Brady and Rodgers, via James Palmer of NFL Network.

Mahomes, feeling confident that he and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen can pull off a victory, said that the two plan to play the course differently” than Brady and Rodgers.

The Chiefs star said that the two old guys might get them on par-3s where they can take it “nice and easy”, but that they'll be no match for Mahomes and Allen when the drivers come out.

Of course, Mahomes better be careful what he says, as Brady and Rodgers are both veterans of The Match, having participated in the event last year alongside PGA Tour stars Bryson DeChambeau and Phil Mickelson.

While Mahomes and Allen can really sling the ball downfield in the NFL- and presumably the gold ball down the course too- Brady and Rodgers have the old, wily veteran's instinct and touch around the green.

It should certainly make for an interesting match. The four-star quarterbacks will be micd up as they compete on the course and raise money for various charities in The Match.

Golf and NFL fans won't want to miss this.
