The Green Bay Packers are placing cornerback Davon House on the injury reserve, thus putting his availability for the rest of the season in jeopardy, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

It was also reported by Rob Demovsky of ESPN that House has been troubled by a shoulder injury all season and added that the veteran cornerback is scheduled to go under the knife to fix it.

House hasn’t been used much by the Packers over the first three weeks of the season, as he has only seen 29 defensive snaps on the season and 50 with the special teams.

The Packers, meanwhile, have already made a move to cover the spot on the 53-man roster by Davon House, as the team have reportedly agreed to sign cornerback Bashaud Breeland, per Demovsky.
