Any football player would consider it an honor to be named into a team's Hall of Fame since it's already difficult to stand out in such a crowded field in the first place. This is why it's a great honor for Charles Woodson to be included in the Green Bay Packers' Hall of Fame.

According to ProFootballTalk's Michael David Smith, the Packers chose two defenders to make up the 2020 Hall of Fame class. Besides Woodson, the other player they chose to make this year's list is Al Harris, another corner.

The corner was an important component for the Packers' Super Bowl XLV victory as he hawked passing lanes and kept an eye out for receivers and runners. In his seven-year stay at Lambeau Field, he made 462 tackles, nine interceptions, 11.5 sacks, and six fumble recoveries. He was a phenomenal defender who played a magnificent total of 100 games for the Packers from 2006 to 2012.

However, the Packers wasn't the only team he played for. He started and ended his professional career with the Oakland Raiders. He suited up for the Raiders 154 times over an 11-year association with the team until his retirement in 2015. In his final season of pro football, he managed 74 tackles, five picks, forced one fumble, and recovered four.

Raiders head coach Jon Gruden joked about whether Woodson will get his yellow jacket as a Raider or a Packer, but both teams appreciate what Woodson brought to the table. It was a sense of defensive dominance and work ethic that wasn't easily found in others.
