The Green Bay Packers will be turning 100 on August 11, and as the present-day Packers will look to celebrate things with a trip to the Super Bowl, the team is ready to celebrate with a huge party that will have fans walking away with grass seeds from Lambeau field itself.

According to Richard Ryman of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Packers will be celebrating their birthday on August 11 with a free birthday event in the Lambeau Field Atrium, lasting from 10 am to 5 pm.

The first 5,000 fans to visit the atrium will receive free packets that contain the seeds of the grass used in Lambeau Field.

If grass seed isn’t enough to make you want to celebrate, one in every 50 packets of seed will be autographed by one of Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, Kenny Clark, Jaire Alexander, Blake Martinez, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur, general manager Brian Gutekunst or president and CEO Mark Murphy.

Fans who can’t make the birthday event can pick up seeds in the Packers Pro Shop, and those who can’t make it to Lambeau will be able to buy packets online, for $5 per packet. Proceeds of the sales will go to the American Red Cross.

Tthe seeds aren’t the only thing the team will have to show for its birthday. The birthday event will also be complete with free cupcakes, music, and public screenings of the first episode of the team’s 10-part “Legacy” documentary, that chronicles the history of the Green Bay Packers.

Needless to say, the Packers are ready to go all out for their birthday, and fans in the area should be ready to celebrate.
